Lauren Bell

Research Assistant

Lauren has interests in health psychology, and particularly experiences of young people living with a health condition. Lauren is currently working as a Research Assistant at Coventry University exploring people’s wellbeing during COVID-19. She completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey and was awarded the British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award. Lauren then completed a Master’s in Health Psychology at Coventry University, supervised by Dr Gemma Pearce. This included supporting hEDS/HSD related maternity/midwifery research, co-creation in welfare settings and a dissertation which explored how parents in the UK had experienced healthcare for their children with diagnosed or suspected hEDS/HSD.  Outside of work, Lauren is converting and travelling the UK in a tiny van conversion.
