Sabeeha (or Sabs) is a scientist with a determination to drive biomedical research into all forms of EDS and HSD. She has successfully obtained funding to investigate the role of cell adhesion and cell biomechanics in EDS/HSD and wants to gain a better understanding of the processes involved in maintaining connective tissue integrity. Some of her MSc work involved reviewing the diagnostic criteria for hEDS/HSD which she is currently developing further. She is also passionate about science communication and would like to make more complex scientific research accessible to all.
