Professor Shea Palmer

Professor of Allied Health

Shea is Professor of Allied Health in the ‘Centre for Care Excellence’, a joint initiative between Coventry University and University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust. He has previously worked at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and the University of the West of England, Bristol. He has undertaken many research studies into hEDS/HSD and is very excited to work closely with the team in Coventry. His hEDS/HSD research has included epidemiology, qualitative research, surveys, systematic reviews, and laboratory and clinical studies. He led the development of the Bristol Impact of Hypermobility (BIoH) questionnaire, the only condition-specific patient-reported outcome measure.
